Since 1998, we have supported rural people in more than 99 villages and 13 communes across Cambodia’s northwest.
We have supported the construction of more than 300 hand-pump wells and 700 latrines, bringing improved sanitation to tens of thousands of people.
We have supported thousands of families to improve their food security and develop a new income stream from sustainable agriculture and animal-raising activities.
We have conducted 9 citizens rating reports and public forums, enabling approximately 15,000 villagers to voice their concerns about local health and education services.
We could go on and on but we think our success is best measured by how we have affected the lives of those in our partner communities. Let’s hear from them.
* Ms Roeung Phoey’s story of overcoming adversity as a widow living with HIV/AIDS
* Mr. Mith Ra’s story of overcoming poverty and building a secure income for his family
* Mr. Sok Veourt’s story of building democracy and improving local services in Svay Chek Commune.
